Carter Lumber is looking for a Kitchen and Bath Estimator with knowledge in AI (artificial intelligence) who would be responsible for designing, quoting, and bidding Kitchen and baths. Ensures drawings and pricing are produced accurately and timely based off of blueprints provided by customers. Requires 2020 Design as well as Excel experience, CAD is a plus. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.
nRequirements to be Considered for this Position:
nnKnowledgeable in the basic aspects of construction
nPrevious experience using 2020 Design as well as Excel
nA level of knowledge in the application of the products being designed
nCompetency in basic mathematics
nKnowledgeable in reading architectural plans
nAbility to analyze, trouble shoot and problem solve
nStrong verbal and written communication skills
nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
nDemonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively
n nResponsibilities of the Position:
nDesigning:
nnCreates design illustrations based from blueprints to produce working drawings.
nCompletes and finalizes designs for installation.
nEvaluates designs to ensure that design standards are being met.
n nAnalyzes and Troubleshoots:
nnReviews and analyzes specifications, blueprints, engineered drawings and related designs to determine factors affecting design of cabinets.
n nSupport:
nnCommunicates with the team, customers and Sales to ensure designs are accurate throughout the process. Assists Sales in responding to questions/concerns from customers.
