Job description
SONIC Drive-In Restaurant CookHelp prepare and cook our famous Sonic menu entrees and side items! Once certified, you can train to be a "Kitchen Manager" and much more! Starting wages $9 - $10 per hour depending on experience! Also, we pay you weekly!As a SONIC Drive-In restaurant Cook, you will work in the Appetite Satisfaction Department, which involves operating the following stations: Prep, Food Production, Grill, Fryer and other tasks as needed. Cook tasks in the restaurant may include:Preparing and cooking food orders to meet product quality standardsFood preparation and portioningCooking on the grillOperating the fry stationDressing items to orderPackaging all menu items and checking for product quality and consistencyFollowing all Food Safety and Health standardsSONIC Drive-In Restaurant Cook Requirements:Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidaysAbility to be flexible in all situations based on business needEffective communication skills; basic math and reading skillsAbility to follow directionsWillingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC Drive-In restaurantsGeneral knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations preferred, but not requiredAdditional SONIC Drive-In Restaurant Cook Qualifications:Friendly and smiling faces that enjoy providing quality products for our guests!A willingness to cross-train on all the stations it never gets boring here!Motivated individuals who are team players and committed to keeping our drive-in clean and safe.All that’s missing is you, so APPLY TODAY!
