Kitchen Manager – Entertainment Concept
Location: Dobbs Ferry, NY
Salary:
$80,000 – $85,000 + Bonus
About the Opportunity
We’re working with an exciting hospitality and entertainment concept in Dobbs Ferry, NY, seeking a hands‑on and motivated Kitchen Manager to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a kitchen leader who enjoys a fast‑paced environment, takes pride in food quality and consistency, and knows how to develop and support a strong back‑of‑house team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency.
Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, creating a positive and collaborative team environment.
Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and food safety.
Manage kitchen scheduling, labor, inventory, and food costs.
Work closely with the General Manager and front‑of‑house team to deliver an excellent guest experience.
Support menu execution, kitchen procedures, and operational improvements.
Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen environment.
Lead by example with a hands‑on approach during busy service periods.
Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or similar leadership role.
Strong experience in restaurants, hospitality, entertainment, or high‑volume food service.
Hands‑on leader with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Passionate about food quality, service standards, and team development.
Comfortable working in a busy environment and supporting the team on the floor.
Strong understanding of food safety, labor management, and cost control.
Dine‑in cinema or entertainment experience would be a bonus, but is not essential.
