Knowledge Services Operations AssistantJoin Baird's Global Investment Banking (GIB) team as a Knowledge Services Operations Assistant, where you'll play a key role in helping investment bankers access the research, market intelligence, and data they need to serve clients and execute transactions. We offer a collaborative hybrid work environment, with in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday and remote work Monday and Friday, subject to business needs.The Impact You'll MakeMaintain research and market-data operations — track subscriptions, user lists, and renewals across the firm's information-product vendors with accuracy and timelinessBuild and maintain spreadsheets of moderate-to-high complexity, including pivot tables, lookups, and usage/cost reportingField and route research requests, addressing questions that require knowledge of departmental and firm functionsMaintain data integrity across CRM and internal systems through accurate entries and regular cleanupsAssemble materials and compile research so the team can focus on serving bankersCoordinate meetings, vendor demos, and training logistics; process vendor invoices and expenses, checking for accuracyWhat You'll Bring to BairdBachelor's degree preferred; minimum 2 years of relevant experience, with investment banking or financial services experience strongly preferredPrior experience in library sciences, research support or knowledge management is a plusAdvanced Excel skills and strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Exceptionally organized — consistent, accurate, and able to prioritize and meet deadlinesNot afraid of technology — a proactive self-starter who learns new platforms quickly; exposure to AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT) and CRM platforms like Salesforce is a bonusIntellectually curious — energized by learning new tools, data sources, and better ways to workDetail-oriented, a strong communicator, and a flexible team player able to thrive under peak workloadsCompensation and BenefitsApproximately $25 - $33 per hour, based on a 37.5 hour work weekBonus potential up to 8.5% of base payCompensation and bonus are commensurate with experience, performance and/or firm profitabilityYou'll have the opportunity to advance your career while enjoying our comprehensive benefits designed for your life, career and future.
