n nResponsibilities
nnDesign and execute primary consumer research using qualitative and quantitative methods
nOwn the analysis and reporting delivery of research findings and insights
nSupport the product research team by leading in the collaboration of defining research objectives and research projects
nSynthesize primary, secondary and public research sources to deliver research findings
nCollaborate closely with partners (external vendors) and peers to generate effective research plans to ensure outputs and deliverables are internally actionable
nCompare related competitor applications and products for strengths, weaknesses, user perspective and actionable insights
nEvaluate new product concepts for usability issues while trying new features or assessing UX design documents
n nQualifications:
nn5+ years of experience doing consumer research, with an emphasis on qualitative techniques including: research design, recruiting, interviewing, online platform usage, analysis, video usage, reporting
nProficiency using online survey tools, examples are: dscout, Pollfish and Qualtrics
nBachelor's degree in related field, with demonstrated technical learning and work in consumer electronics preferred
nExcellent communicator in interviewing and soliciting verbal input. Experience writing documents for influence. Solid numerical and data analysis skills
nBilingual in English/Korean is a plus
nAt least a Bachelor's degree in related field, with demonstrated technical aptitude. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
nExperience in the consumer electronics industry is preferred
n5+ years of experience is required
