Evening Shift CustodianMelaleuca is looking to hire an evening shift Custodian to provide custodial services for Melaleuca's Knoxville plant. Shift Hours: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (Monday-Friday) Overview Starting Pay of $16.40/hr. 401k Free Company Products (Monthly voucher currently equal to $100/month value - $1200/year) Company Sponsored Employee Appreciation Events First Pay Review After 6 Months Clean Indoor Climate Controlled Environment Opportunities to Promote No Layoffs Safe/All-Natural Product Line Responsibilities Vacuums carpeted floors and floor mats by using an industrial vacuum Sweeps, mops and dusts all areas of the building. Ensures that all trash is removed from the building and deposits it into the receptacle. Cleans all restrooms by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the restrooms, (i.e., wiping & washing urinals, toilets, sinks, stalls, walls, floors, mirrors, etc.) with disinfectants. Cleans lunchroom by sweeping floors, disinfecting the lunchroom: by wiping & washing tables, chairs, counters, floors, walls, windows, etc. Cleans windows inside of the facility. Cleans offices including desks, chairs, carpet and chair mats. Cleans lobby area including the mezzanine and observatory windows. Ensures that the building is "Tour Ready" condition at all times. Performs duties of position in the work area as needed or other tasks as assigned Qualifications Previous cleaning / custodial experience is preferred Attention to detail Ability to work independently Ability to lift 50 lbs. Walking, stretching, and lifting for the duration of the shift Written and verbal communication skills Ability to climb stairs. Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy
