Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.Qualifications:Education:H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) RequiredWork Experience:No experience required Required1 year of experience as a phlebotomist PreferredExperience in performing EKGs PreferredExperience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting PreferredLicenses and Certifications:None RequiredCPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency PreferredBusiness Unit: Company Name:Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital
