Lab Assistant - Phlebotomy - Prn DaysSalary Range $15.50 - $24.25 Hourly Position Type Prn (16 Hours) Job Shift Days Category Laboratory ServicesDescriptionJob Summary: Collects venous and capillary blood from inpatients and outpatients on site and off site. Processes specimens to be sent to reference labs. Cleans and stocks pick-up carts and trays. Orders lab tests in the computer. Receives laboratory specimens.Job Responsibilities:Demonstrates specific specimen collection skills as listed and in accordance with the laboratory assistant manual.QualificationsEducation Requirements and Other Requirements:Education Level: High School diploma or equivalent.Certification/Licensure: BLSExperience Requirements: Paramedical training preferred.
