Job description
Job TitlePerforms non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection.Job Responsibilities:Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.Coordinate a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.Interact with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.Perform Other Responsibilities as Assigned.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDNo ExperienceNo Supervisor ExperiencePreferred Qualifications:< 2 Years' Experience< 2 Years' Supervisor ExperienceWork Shift: Day Shift (United States of America)Legal Statement: The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this position.
