Job description
Job TitleJob DescriptionPerforms non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.Coordinate a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.Interact with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.Perform other responsibilities as assigned.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDNo ExperienceNo Supervisor ExperiencePreferred QualificationsLess than 2 Years' ExperienceLess than 2 Years' Supervisor ExperienceWork ShiftEvening Shift (United States of America)Legal StatementThe above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this position.
