At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.Purpose Of Job:The Accessioner/Data Entry Specialist enters patient, client and test information into the Laboratory Information System. They also receive and prepare samples for laboratory analyses and tests.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Entry of information from test requisition forms.Verify and reconcile information on test requisition with the sample information previously ordered entry.Properly route non-matching "problem" test requisitions to PI.Assists other lab personnel with specimen storage.Ensures documents are completed according to established SOPs. May sort incoming specimens for processing. Prepares and ships supplies, including processing related documentation. Performs variety of administrative duties, such as answering and routing incoming calls, maintaining visitor logs and other related activities.Generate and send reports.Assists with archiving of study related documentation.Completes all documentation in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (21CFR Part 58)Knowledge of medical and laboratory terminology, specimen processing procedures and equipment helpful.Consult with senior peers on non-complex tasks to learn through experience.Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency.Applies job skills and lab policies and procedures to complete a variety of tasks.Performs other duties as assigned.We share a collaborative obligation to ensure that we conduct ourselves in the utmost ethical manner and that we hold each other accountable to the values and standards of the organization.
