Job description

PhlebotomistJoin a dynamic healthcare team as a phlebotomist working in a clinical setting in the region. This position offers the opportunity to draw quality blood samples from diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric, while providing exceptional patient care and ensuring specimen integrity. If you are detail-oriented, confident in your phlebotomy skills, and committed to patient confidentiality, this role is an excellent fit for you.ResponsibilitiesDraw blood specimens from patients in a timely and accurate manner, following established procedures and safety protocols.Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.Explain procedures to patients to create a trusting environment and ease patient anxiety.Maintain accurate records and ensure proper specimen handling.Demonstrate professionalism and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining organizational commitments.Contribute to process excellence and confidentiality in handling patient information.Perform duties at high-volume sites, including rotational weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.Required SkillsExcellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.Ability to provide error-free work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong customer service skills in a healthcare or retail setting.Proficiency with keyboard and data entry tasks.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Additional Skills & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington), preferred elsewhere.Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; over one year preferred.Medical assistant or paramedic training is a plus.Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.Experience in high-volume settings and rotational shifts strongly preferred.If you are passionate about patient care, possess strong phlebotomy skills, and seek a position in a busy clinical environment, we encourage you to apply and become part of a supportive and professional healthcare team.About Us: All Medical Personnel streamlines hiring to get you back to the work you love.
