Wednesday- Sunday 9PM - 6AM pays $28 per hour
Position Overview
Seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations and scientific research activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on laboratory experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow established protocols and standard operating procedures in a regulated laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
Perform routine laboratory procedures and experiments according to established protocols and SOPs.
Support laboratory activities involving LNP, mRNA, circular RNA, and sgRNA workflows.
Perform sample preparation, handling, and processing while maintaining accurate documentation.
Conduct dialysis and membrane-based sample processing using appropriate MWCO materials.
Perform analytical assays and measurements, including RiboGreen and zeta potential analysis.
Maintain accurate laboratory records, data, and experimental results.
Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, and laboratory protocols.
Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
Assist with troubleshooting experiments and identifying potential issues with samples, equipment, or procedures.
Work collaboratively with scientists and other laboratory personnel to support project goals.
Follow applicable quality and compliance requirements, including ISO 9001 standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field preferred.
Previous academic or laboratory experience preferred; entry-level candidates with relevant hands-on laboratory experience will be considered.
Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and equipment.
Experience with nucleic acids, RNA, or biotechnology techniques is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow written procedures.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a laboratory team.
