Overview
Premier NYC employment law firm seeks experienced Senior/Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience doing employment litigation work with strong writing skills.
Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, discovery and motions and extensive writing experience
Ability to handle complex cases
Conduct legal research
Make court appearances in courts in NYC and surrounding area
Provide exemplary legal counsel and representation
Delegate casework to legal support staff
Requirements
NY State Admission
3+ years of employment litigation (plaintiff or defense)
Strong Writing Skills
Ability to be on-site in NYC Financial District office
Experience with any or all of the following statutes is highly preferred:
- Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
- The New York State Human Rights Law
- The New York City Human Rights Law
