Job description
Role Overview: Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and post-treatment needs. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring clear communication across care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Educate patients and families on managing health conditions and medication administration.
Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
Use critical nursing skills to evaluate patient status and adapt care accordingly.
Maintain a safe environment, adhering to safety-sensitive protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN licensure.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
