Job TitlePhlebotomistJob DescriptionReceives specimens and orders appropriate tests as prescribed; processes samples for laboratory testing using various computer applications. Checks for specimen integrity and proper specimen identification. Prints and distributes reports, answers telephone calls from customers including inpatient nurses/physicians and outpatient clients. Processes specimens for multiple Reference Labs.Experience Required0-2 years' experience requiredPrior experience in a hospital laboratory receiving area preferred.Education RequirementsHigh School/GED required.Vocational/Technical School preferred.Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant training preferred.SalaryUSD $18.00 - USD $29.00
