Job description
Laboratory Associate IMUSC Health Orangeburg is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our laboratory team. In this role, you will perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing under the general supervision of the Laboratory Manager, ensuring accurate and timely results that support quality patient care. Responsibilities include routine diagnostic testing, quality control procedures, instrument maintenance, troubleshooting laboratory equipment, reporting critical and abnormal results to providers, and documenting results through laboratory information systems. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of laboratory quality and patient safety.
