Job description
Pathologists Assistant Days 5x8s 10:30a-7:30p 1 year experience 1st time travelers accepted Working in our Doan lab that gets specimens from our University Hospital OR--mostly benign lesions (95%) with some colon cancer resections and native livers. Some procurement for research, selecting tissue from POCs for karyotyping and biopsy grossing when staffing requires it. Depending on workload volumes, some cancer cases from another lab could be sent to Doan to be grossed, but the temp PA could focus on benign cases and biopsies. Cert Required: PA (ASCP)
