Looking for a hands-on laboratory opportunity?
A healthcare organization outside of Oakland, CA is seeking a Laboratory Technologist to support testing in a remote or mobile laboratory setting.
Position Highlights Perform point-of-care testing in a remote/mobile setting
Work across Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular & Coagulation
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection
Monitor quality control and troubleshoot instrumentation as needed
Enter patient information, test orders, and results into the laboratory information system
Maintain laboratory supplies, QC records, and required documentation
Opportunity to operate a mobile laboratory delivery van when needed
What We're Looking For
Laboratory experience with point-of-care testing preferred
Comfortable performing venipuncture and capillary collections
Strong attention to detail and specimen integrity
Able to monitor QC and recognize abnormal or questionable results
Comfortable troubleshooting equipment, computer, and client issues
Able to work independently in a remote/mobile setting
Strong understanding of laboratory safety and documentation procedures
