Laborer (Pressure Washer)Harsco Environmental is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Pressure Washer / Industrial Laborer to join our team. This position is responsible for operating high-pressure washing equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment, plant areas, roadways, and work sites within a steel manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor and industrial conditions.Essential Job DutiesOperate high-pressure water blasting and pressure washing equipment to clean production areas, machinery, vehicles, and industrial surfaces.Remove dirt, scale, debris, slag, dust, and other materials from designated work areas.Assist with general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.Follow all Harsco Environmental and customer site safety policies and procedures.Conduct pre-shift inspections of equipment and report maintenance needs.Safely handle hoses, pumps, water systems, and related pressure washing equipment.Assist operations personnel with labor-intensive tasks as needed.Maintain awareness of surrounding equipment and vehicle traffic within the industrial environment.Wear and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).Perform other duties as assigned by management.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Prior industrial, construction, labor, pressure washing, or heavy equipment experience preferred but not required.Ability to work safely in a heavy industrial environment.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Strong commitment to teamwork and safety.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work for extended periods.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to work in dusty, noisy, hot, and physically demanding environments.Comfortable working around heavy machinery and mobile equipment.Work EnvironmentSteel mill and industrial production facilities.Exposure to heat, dust, noise, vibration, and changing weather conditions.Shift work, overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on operational needs.We offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, life insurance and disability plans, as well as a 401k with company matching.Harsco Environmental is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
