LADC
nSetting: Healthcare Facilities
nJob Type: Contract - Full Time
nPay: $35 / Hour
nHours: 40.00
nLocation: Portland, ME
nThe LADC provides one on one drug and alcohol consultation to patients/clients; along with individual and group therapy in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient programs. The LADC also provides crisis intervention and assists with behavioral health needs and issues including mental illness, developmental and learning disabilities, substance use, etc.
nMinimum Requirements:
nnnBachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work orpublic health required
n
nnCurrent license or certificate in addictions/substance abusecounseling in the state of assignment required
n
nnExperience in behavioral health guidelines, to includebehavioral health assessments, individual and group therapy, clinicalmanagement of patients with mental illness and / or substance abuse issuespreferred
n
nnComplies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
n
nnCurrent CPR if applicable
n
nnTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
n
nnCurrent Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
n
nnMust meet all federal, state and local requirements
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
