Join our "swarm" today!Location: Virginia Beach, VA, 23320Pay: $18- $22 an hour- Full-timeRequirementsAquatic Pesticide Applicator License or be able to obtain a license within 30 days of hire.Experience in lake and pond management, pest/herbicide control or surveying is preferred.Experience in the following disciplines are desirable: fisheries, wildlife management, conservation, ecology, biology, environmental sciences or forestry.Electrical work experience preferred, but not required.Valid Driver's License.Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.Able to swim and comfortable around water.Ability to lift 80 pounds on a regular basis.Great communication skills.Basic math skills to calculate product applications.Mechanically inclined.Occasional travel may be required.Team-oriented and aligned with Dragonfly's values: Quality Focus, Takes Ownership, and Growth Oriented.Key Responsibilities:Identify and treat invasive weeds.Visual inspection of stormwater components.Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on pond fountains and related equipment.Mowing/string trimming sites.Improving the overall aesthetics of the sites.Minor repairs for compliance.Implement safety training for field staff.Handle administrative duties.Benefits & Perks:Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) matchingLife InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsPaid Time OffHoliday PayEmployee Assistance ProgramReferral BonusProtective Footwear BonusPotential Growth PathOperations ManagerBranch ManagerDirector of OperationsDragonfly Pond Works is a leading environmental service company specializing in stormwater management.
