Job description
Lamination Associate - 3rd ShiftAtlas Molded Products is seeking Lamination Associate - 3rd Shift for the Byron Center, MI facility.Lamination Associate Primary ResponsibilitiesReport to Manager at shift start for direction for the day.General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.Cut, bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble and/or label materials per specific production instructions.Operate or assist with machinery such as, but not limited to the laminator, embosser, routers, and wrapping equipment.Verify equipment set-up throughout the process; operate and power down manufacturing equipment.Maintain productivity standards and verify all job requirements of the final products with the correct density, material, weight, size, and shape within given quality tolerance to meet specific job requirementsMaintain a clean and organized work area.Knowledge of and ability to operate Pre-breakers / Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.Perform any other functions and responsibilities as assigned.Must be trained and familiar with general safety.Must be trained and familiar with Quality System Awareness.Must be verified by supervisor and be signed off on procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within 2 months of hire.Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.Lamination Associate ExperiencePrior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment helpful.Lamination Associate Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesProblem solving and critical thinking desiredMinimal problem solving and critical thinking requiredFluent in the English language, both written and spoken, preferred.Must be able to use simple math, count and use basic hand-held measuring tools.Lamination Associate Education, Licenses & CertificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.Total CompensationAtlas Molded Products offers a competitive compensation and vacation/holiday package as well as a comprehensive low-cost benefits program including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life/AD&D/LTD insurance, 401k and Medical Spending Accounts, and Company Paid Life insurance and STD.We Train You…Career Skills Progression Program available now.Atlas Roofing Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity EmployerNo calls or agencies please.
