Job description

Lamination Operator 2nd ShiftThe Lamination Operator plays a key role in the production process by operating lamination equipment, performing manual assembly tasks, and ensuring finished products meet strict quality standards. This role works on 2nd shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and involves hands-on work with machinery, tools, and materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform manual assembly tasks, including loading raw parts, placing small components, and labeling finished items with accuracy and care.Visually inspect finished products to ensure all layers are correctly aligned and meet established quality standards.Operate lamination equipment, monitor performance, and make minor adjustments to maintain smooth production flow and achieve quality goals.Use equipment manuals to perform routine daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on lamination machines and related equipment.Maintain a clean and organized workstation, follow all safety rules and procedures, and support a safe working environment.Assist with other general production tasks as needed to support team and facility goals.Read and interpret blueprints and detailed work instructions to complete tasks correctly.Use hand tools and measuring tools, such as calipers, to verify part dimensions and ensure product accuracy.Handle heavy lifting of materials and parts within the required weight range while following proper ergonomic and safety practices.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 4060 lbs independently on a regular basis.Ability to follow and work from detailed written and verbal instructions.Ability to read and use a caliper for measurement and quality verification.Ability to read and write in English to understand work instructions and document production information.High School Diploma or GED.Experience with manual assembly and general production work.Ability to operate lamination or similar production machinery.Comfort using hand tools in a manufacturing or production setting.Ability to perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and alignment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in lamination operations or as a lamination operator in a manufacturing environment.Experience in machine operating and general production processes.Familiarity with routine equipment maintenance using manuals and documented procedures.Attention to detail and strong focus on product quality.Strong safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a clean, orderly work area.Why Work Here?Employees benefit from a comprehensive benefits package that supports health, financial security, and overall well-being. Heavy lifting of 4060 lbs is part of the daily workload, and employees are expected to follow established safety guidelines and production standards while working collaboratively with the production team.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Rolling Meadows, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
