Lamination TechnicianNow hiring for a Lamination Technician Location: Carlsbad, CA Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour Schedule: 1st shift – 5 am – 3:30 pm No Desk Jobs, Just Real Work and Good Pay. This opportunity lets you assemble products, inspect finished work, and help keep factory operations running safely, accurately, and efficiently.Job DutiesLaminate and assemble carbon-fiber aircraft componentsPerform bonding and post-production finishingFile, sand, grind, clean, cut, deburr, and trim materialsInspect components for quality and accuracyFollow production specifications and safety proceduresMaintain a clean and organized workspaceEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred. Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial.Experience RequirementsAbility to assemble products or components according to work instructions and production standards. Ability to safely use basic hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or production equipment as required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect completed work for quality. Ability to maintain productivity while performing repetitive assembly tasks. Dependable attendance, teamwork, and commitment to workplace safety. Composite manufacturing/lamination experience highly preferredPreferred QualificationsPrevious factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred. Experience working on production lines or assembling mechanical, electrical, or consumer products is beneficial. Knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Lamination Technician. Experience with Carbon Pre-Preg, Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, Fiberglass and/or hand layup preferred Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprintsPhysical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment. Ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.
