We invest in our teams, provide industry leading training, and create opportunities for long term career growth.Location: Woodinville, WAJob Summary:Responsible for the direction of crew activities on job site, according to pre-established schedules, standards and procedures to provide a high quality of service, as directed by supervisor.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and implement job specifications for each siteAssign daily tasks to crew members and ensure compliancePerform landscape enhancement tasks, including but not limited to: sod, plant, boulder, stump, soil and bark installation, replacement, and/or removal; debris removal; drainage installation; trench digging.Safe operation of landscape equipment, including but not limited to: ditch witch, wheelbarrows, power tools, backpack blowers, chipper, stump grinder, riding lawn mower, bobcats, tractors, and bull dozers.Report equipment in need of repair to shop mechanicSupervise safe loading and unloading of equipmentAssist with initial and on-going training of crewsDiscuss job site observations with supervisor on a regular basisEnsure adherence to company policiesDevelop and maintain a positive work relationship with supervisor, peers and subordinatesPromote and maintain safe working conditionsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position supervises a crew of two to six crew members II and IISecondary Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform minor irrigation repairs and maintenancePerform minor in-field maintenance and repairs of equipmentEvaluate crews' performance on a consistent basis and report to Field ForemanFacilitate conflict resolution between crew membersOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducationAt least 3 – 5 years commercial landscape experience requiredLanguage SkillsAbility to communicate in EnglishAbility communicate effectively with crew members and Field ForemanBi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not requiredMathematical SkillsNoneReasoning AbilityApply common sense understanding to carry out tasksDeal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variablesCertificates, Licenses and RegistrationsValid driver license issued by the state where employedPesticide license issued by the state where employed preferredOther Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to operate commercial landscape equipment and toolsAbility to complete tasks assigned in a timely mannerAbility to motivate and lead subordinatesStrong commitment to high quality of work and customer servicePhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
