Landscaper PositionManagement Services Corporation (MSC), one of The Caton Companies, is central Virginia's leading property management company. We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals who want a great career at a growing company.We are seeking full-time, experienced Landscapers. Responsible for executing all landscaping work on properties, including lawn & garden care and landscaping maintenance. Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and overtime/weekends as needed.$17.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on skills/experience.Main DutiesMaintain gardens and lawns, including mowing, trimming, pruning, raking, and weedingWeed and mulch landscape bedsTrim trees, hedges, and shrubsApply fertilizers, maintain landscape design features, remove weeds/dead plant material, and oversee repairs as necessaryPosition Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Overtime and weekend work as required, including on-call snow removal during and after snow events. Work is in Charlottesville, Virginia. Reliable commute or relocation to this area is required before starting work.Required Education, Skills, and ExperienceHigh School Diploma/GEDMinimum 1 year experience in a landscaping or groundskeeping role preferred, but not requiredMust be able to safely operate maintenance equipment, including tractors, mowers, leaf blowers, and aerators (or be willing to learn)Lift 50 pounds and handle the physical demands of an outdoors job, including standing, bending, pulling, and climbingAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesWork well with a team or independently when necessaryAbility to work in a variety of outside conditions for long periods of timeAdhere to strict safety precautionsKnowledge of OSHA safety regulations preferredThe BenefitsCompetitive compensationComprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision insuranceFlexible Spending Program (FSA) available401K Program with 4% company match8 paid holidays plus 1 personal floating holiday120 hours of accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) accrued the first yearMSC is an Equal Opportunity Employer
