We're excited to welcome a Crew Leader to our team in Ocala, FL!Position SummaryThe Crew Leader, Landscape is responsible for leading a team of landscape crew members to deliver high-quality maintenance services across Sunrise Landscape's commercial client properties. This is a working leader role, responsible for both hands-on landscape tasks and overseeing crew performance, safety, and efficiency to ensure work is completed to company standards.The Crew Leader partners closely with Foremen and Operations leadership to execute daily maintenance schedules, maintain accurate production tracking in Aspire, and support a strong team culture. A successful Crew Leader brings field experience, strong leadership skills, operational discipline, and a commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesCrew Leadership & PlanningLead and direct daily activities of assigned crew members to complete scheduled maintenance routes safely, efficiently, and to company standardsConduct daily pre-shift meetings to review safety, work assignments, and expectationsProvide on-the-job coaching, training, and accountability to support crew performance and developmentCommunicate with Operations leadership regarding progress, issues, and client needsAspire & Administrative ResponsibilitiesAccurately clock in and out of jobs in Aspire to ensure proper time tracking and job costingAssign and verify crew hours and job codes daily in AspireTrack job progress, service notes, photos, and materials used within AspireEnsure all production data is entered accurately and closed out dailyPartner with branch leadership to resolve any Aspire discrepancies or reporting issuesDriving & Equipment ManagementSafely operate company vehicles to transport crew members, equipment, and materials to and from job sites when requiredConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues immediatelyLoad, secure, unload, and maintain equipment and materials safelyOperate landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers, safely and efficientlyEnsure all tools and equipment are cleaned, maintained, and stored properly after useLandscape Maintenance & Property CarePerform hands-on landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, and debris removal as neededMonitor property conditions and report irrigation issues, turf concerns, and safety hazardsMaintain a high standard of workmanship and ensure properties are left clean and professional after each visitSafety & Team ConductEnforce and model company safety standards, including PPE compliance and safe equipment operationPromote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and respect among crew membersReport accidents, property damage, and safety incidents promptly and accuratelyQualifications & Core Competencies2 to 3 years of landscape maintenance experience required, with prior crew lead or senior crew experience preferredMust be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United StatesStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditionsComfortable using mobile devices or tablets for Aspire time and production trackingStrong understanding of landscape maintenance practices, equipment operation, and crew efficiencyCommitment to safety, quality, and client satisfactionAbility to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountablePhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, kneel, bend, twist, and squat for prolonged periods throughout the dayAbility to use hand tools for extended periods of timeAbility to lift 30+ pounds multiple times per day in hot temperaturesAbility to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, high humidity, and rainDriver QualificationsTo qualify as a Driver, in addition to the above, you must:Possess a valid driver's license issued in the United States for a minimum of three yearsMaintain a clean driving record for at least three yearsSuccessfully pass a drug screeningWhat We Can Offer You:At Sunrise Landscape, joining our team means more than accepting a job—it means building a long-term career with a company that values professionalism, reliability, and personal growth.We are committed to providing a workplace where you can develop your skills, advance your career, contribute to a high-performing team, and do meaningful work alongside people who embody our core values of accountability, resilience, and collaboration.
