Landscape Crew LeaderLandscape Crew Leader is a hands-on position supervising a year-round crew with commercial and/or residential landscape maintenance services as well as performing certain planning, administrative and regulatory functions.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Supervise and train maintenance crews on all aspects of grounds management servicesMowing, raking, digging and weeding of landscapesLoad and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucksSchedule and monitor daily work loadsPlan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each dayAttend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetingsPrepare timesheets and other daily paperwork as required by the companySafe driving of company owned vehicles trucks (with or without trailers) and transporting crew membersSafe operation and maintenance of the following equipment: Mowers - push, walk behind and riding; Tillers, aerators, slit seeders; Edger, string trimmers, and chain saws; Backpack blowers and sprayers; Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools; On occasion wheel tractorsAda Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a routine basis; bend and stoop on a continual basis; work outside in all weather conditions; work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns and other environmental risks
