Landscape Maintenance Crew LeaderThe landscape maintenance crew leader is a supervisory employee who works in our landscape maintenance division. This role requires a hands-on leader to be responsible for commercial and residential lawn care maintenance crews and their assigned properties.Job type: full-time employmentExpected hours: 40 per weekRequired QualificationsForet Group is a drug and alcohol free workplace. Drug and alcohol infractions will be considered in the hiring process.Ability to read and writeValid Louisiana Class D Drivers License or the ability to acquire one. A clear Motor Vehicle Record is required.Management: 1 year (Required)Lawn Maintenance: 1 year (Required)Class D License (Required)Preferred QualificationsHigh school degree or GED are admirable accomplishments but are not required to work with our team.Skills in landscape maintenance or the ability to learn them quickly are desired.1 year of experience in landscape maintenance or landscape construction or the ability to learn quickly is desired.Horticulture knowledge and standards of pruning, planting, digging, and mulching preferredKnowledge of irrigation, landscape lighting, drainage, and other landscape-related trades preferredKey Skills & AttributesGood work ethic and good teamwork skills. Must work with a sense of purpose and urgency to complete the job at hand.Ready to work hard in sometimes extreme weather conditions (heat, cold etc.)Full compliance with all safe-work policies of Foret Group.Knowledge and ability to use landscape related tools (i.e. mowers, trimmers, blowers. etc.) is preferredBenefits401(k) matchingHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time off
