Landscape Technician (ASDM)AQUALIS is the nationwide leading provider of comprehensive water management services focused on maintaining, inspecting, and repairing post-construction stormwater and lift station systems. We provide our clients with environmental compliance while inspiring change by preserving and protecting our most precious natural resource…water.The Assistant Service Delivery Manager (ASDM / Landscape Technician) assists with keeping the Service Delivery team on a challenging schedule during the growing seasons while gathering information for the potential rehabilitation and/or repair of stormwater wetlands, biofiltration systems, proprietary underground storage units, and drainage conveyance infrastructures utilizing Best Management Practices (BMP) for Stormwater Control Measures (SCM).Specific duties include:Assisting with maintaining and improving storm drainage systems to mitigate flooding and erosionPerforming general environmental maintenance activitiesOperating landscaping equipment including weed eaters, blowers, mowers, shovels, chainsaws, etc.Disposing of sediment, trash and debris from stormwater systemsMaintaining and improving storm drainage systems and pondsIdentifying and documenting stormwater drainage issues needing repairOperating and maintaining company equipment which includes a pick-up truck & trailerAssisting with maintenance & inspection reports and tracking crew expensesAssisting with hotel arrangements for the team when overnight travel is requiredAttending brief but regular safety trainingsPerforming physical labor in a variety of weather conditionsRegional travel 4-5 days per week (all travel expenses are covered by the company)Basic Requirements:Experience operating basic landscaping equipmentExperience driving a truck and trailerWilling to travel regionally, overnight, 4-5 days per week (All travel expenses are covered by the Company)Comfortable with extensive physical labor in variety of weather conditionsBackground check, drug screening and motor vehicle report are part of the pre-employment process.Must maintain our Company's "No Jerk" cultureValid driver's license, insurability under the company's auto policy and ability to drive company vehicle are ongoing requirements in this position.This position is designated as safety-sensitive and involves operating DOT-regulated vehicles, which requires inclusion of marijuana in the drug testing panel.Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Certification throughout employment.Location - Effingham, ILCategory - Environmental ServicesFull-Time/Part-Time - Full-TimeExempt/Non-Exempt - Non-ExemptNumber of Openings - 1Base Compensation Min - $19.00 Per hourBase Compensation Max - $23.00 Per hourEOE Statement - AQUALIS Stormwater Management is strongly committed to providing a work environment that is free from all forms of harassment, discrimination and inequality.
