We continue to grow, and we want you to grow with us.Hiring Immediately!Position: Landscape Technician (Stormwater)Location: San Marcos, TXCompensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Full Time, 40-55 hours per week (Monday - Friday, overtime opportunities) Travel: Required (typically 10 days per month, M-F only) Eligible for our travel bonus! The 5th day of out-of-town travel and beyond per month, $100 per out-of-town travel day bonus!We're hiring a Landscape Technician (Stormwater) to play a key role in providing landscaping and maintenance expertise to service our clients' stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties. This position is a driving force behind our Stormwater team's success. If you have prior experience in Landscaping, as a Lawn Maintenance Technician, Construction Worker, General Laborer, or Groundskeeper, or if you enjoy working outdoors, we want to hear from you!Why you'll love being on the Apex team:Multiple Ways to Earn: Weekly pay, per diem, overtime potential, travel bonuses, and annual raises based on performance.Time Off: 15 days of paid time off annually + 9 company holidays.Safety Benefits: Personal protective equipment provided, water breaks for the summer season.Comprehensive Benefits: Subsidized medical, dental, and vision plans.Financial Growth: Company-paid life insurance, optional short- and long-term disability, 401k match, tuition assistance, and continuing education support.What you'll do:Routine landscape maintenance and light repairs of stormwater systems and infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other stormwater assets)Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client properties.Operate landscaping and light construction equipment.Travel from the shop to client sites locally and regionally using the company truck. 10 days per month is typical (Monday - Friday).What we're looking for:1-2 years of experience with outdoor labor (landscaping, lawn maintenance, underground utilities, construction, grounds maintenance and repair, or similar work).Due to DOT requirements, employees must meet the minimum age requirement of 21 years or older.Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening. We are a drug-free workplace.Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation.Willingness to travel.Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials.Ability to perform various physical tasks (i.e. bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) and work in a variety of weather conditions.Interested?
