Job DetailsPay Rate: $22.50 an hourESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain the grounds, including but not limited to cutting lawn, fertilizing, watering, planting, pruning, trimming, seeding, pickup garbage, and laying sod.Cut trees.Remove snow shovel snow for the entire facilityOperate loaders, trucks, mowers, blowers, hoes, and the likeMaintain equipment and vehiclesMaintain irrigation systems.Demolition, as needed.Set-up and take down for concertsPush mow and weed whipSnow removal machine and shovelKNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIESRequired Knowledge and Certification:Valid Driver's LicenseEighteen (18) months experience in the operation of heavy equipmentProven knowledge and ability to operate skid steer loader, dump trucks, snow blowers, backhoe and front-end loadersPreferred Knowledge and Certification:Pesticide application license / certificateValid Class "C" Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Required Skills:Accurate and detail-orientedHighly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesStrong mechanical aptitude, oil changes change hydraulic hoses, fix tires, etc.Required Abilities:Ability to work fast and efficientlyAbility to independently complete multiple tasks in a professional mannerAbility to learn appropriate chemical usage and proper equipment usageAbility to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous mannerAbility to maintain high confidentialityAbility to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygienePHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of timeMust have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneelMust be able to push, pull and grasp objects regularlyMust have the ability to independently lift minimum 25 pounds routinelyMust have manual dexterity necessary to manipulate tools and equipmentMust be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motionsMust have good eye hand coordinationMust be able to operate foot pedalsWORKING ENVIRONMENTMaintenance shop environment including excessive noise, such as power tools, dust and fumes from paints, varnishes, stains and the likeRequired to work in extreme weather such as wet, damp, high wind, ice and snowMust be able to work in cramped, tight quartersMust handle hazardous materialsMust be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
