Landscaping Crew LeaderLocation: Allentown, PA, United States Job Type: Regular Full Time Pay Range: $22-$28/hour depending on experienceThe Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.Job SummaryThe Crew Leader is responsible for overseeing landscape operations at client sites, managing a crew of 2–5 team members to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to BrightView’s quality standards. This role involves supervising a variety of service lines, including basic landscape maintenance, installation, and supportive services such as irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications. The Crew Leader plays a key role in maintaining client satisfaction through effective team leadership and high-quality service delivery.Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are metSurface customer problems or concerns and report back to Operations ManagerAssist in resolving issues with customer service when neededEnsure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policiesCommunicate regularly with Operations Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceededDeliver services as specified on client sitesWork to identify more efficient ways to perform workCoordinate service execution with Operations ManagerOversee day-to-day site operations and delegate work to crew team membersProvide Operations Manager feedback on crew member(s)Work with Operations Manager, helping to develop and train crew membersEnsure equipment preventative maintenance is performed as needed and equipment is in good working orderParticipate in branch meetings as directedAccurately capture and turn in crew time logs through electronic time capture (ETC)Log equipment usage and maintenance cyclesEducation and Experience:BrightView Equipment certificationsPrior experience as a Crew Leader is highly preferredDemonstrated leadership among the team and with peersValid Driver LicensePhysical Demands/Requirements:Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.)Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.)Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the dayWork Environment:Work in/or about situations near direct automotive trafficWork near or about natural bodies of waterAbility to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees FahrenheitAbility to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of timeWork outdoors in moderate to extreme heat in dry/humid near automotive traffic, natural bodies of water, fumes, dust, mechanical/electrical hazards, and direct sunlight.Requires protective clothing and personal devices: Eye protection, safety vest, gloves, hard hat, earplugs, long-sleeved shirts, and work bootsBrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.This job description is subject to change at any time.BrightView offers a suite of health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
