Job description
Landscaping Crew LeaderThe Crew Leader executes site level tasks on BrightView’s client sites. This position directs the work of 2-5 other employees and ensures assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards set by BrightView and BrightView’s clients. The Crew Leader oversees crews working in varying service lines including basic maintenance, landscape installation, and supportive services like irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications.You’d be responsible for:Maintaining a schedule and ensuring service expectations are metSurface customer problems or concerns and report back to Operations ManagerAssisting in resolving issues with customer service when neededEnsuring work is performed safely and in accordance with company policiesCommunicating regularly with Operations Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceededDelivering services as specified on client sitesWorking to identify more efficient ways to perform workCoordinating service execution with Operations ManagerOverseeing day to day site operations and delegating work to crew team membersProviding Operations Manager feedback on crew member(s)Working with Operations Manager, helping to develop and train crew membersEnsuring equipment preventative maintenance is performed as needed and equipment is in good working orderParticipating in branch meetings as directedAccurately capturing and turning in crew time logs through electronic time capture (ETC)Logging equipment usage and maintenance cyclesYou might be a good fit if you have:BrightView Equipment certificationsExperience in a landscape-related fieldDemonstrated leadership among the team and with peersDriver’s LicenseHere’s what to know about working here:Here at BrightView, we’re as passionate about caring for our clients as we are about caring for each other.
