Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.ResponsibilitiesHow you'll make an impact in this roleOversees a crew of 4–8 employees and manages the daily work performed.Ensures adherence to all safety policies, assists with weekly safety training and inspections, and helps maintain proper inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies.Performs a wide variety of tasks to maintain an attractive landscape, including weed control, perennial cultural practices, pruning, pest treatments, planting, routine lawn care (grass cutting, edging), and seasonal clean-up.Operates various mechanical equipment (mowers, back hoes, bobcats, tillers, chainsaws, etc.), moves materials, digs holes and trenches, hauls/spreads materials, and performs snow removal.Provides training to Landscaping Technicians, maintains assigned equipment, responds politely to customer inquiries, applies chemicals under direction, and assists Facilities Maintenance staff and special projects, including painting during the winter season.QualificationsWhat minimum requirements you'll needEducation:High school diploma or Equivalent RequiredLicense:Valid State Driver's License and insurable with company's agentCommercial Driver's License (CDL) - preferredPesticide Certification - preferredExperience:Five years of experience in landscaping or horticultural workTN category 3 pesticide certification.
