If you're passionate, positive and hard-working, we'd love to have you join our team!What You Get To Do:You'll be part of an outstanding team dedicated to maintaining the attractive appearance of our grounds. This role will involve performing a variety of horticultural, grounds keeping and greenhouse tasks, including watering, weeding, planting, transplanting, pruning, mulching, and mowing. You will:Install, care for, maintain and remove park annuals, ornamentals, turf and treesOperate (with training) mowers, augers, trimmers, shears, tillers, utility carts, water tanks, tractors, forklift, loaders, trucks, trailers, etc.Perform cold-weather protection and hurricane preparednessRepair any weather damaged areasCommunicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our GuestsPerform other duties as assignedWhat It Takes To Succeed:Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving guidelinesPrevious experience in a Horticulture or Landscape settingAbility to work with and help lead team and crewCreative problem solving skills and able to identify potential landscape issuesScheduling flexibilityDependability and willingness to learn all aspects of landscapingHeavy machinery experience (backhoe, forklift, manlift) preferredCompensation: 14.50 USDWhat Else Is Important:Able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if neededPerform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)Able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include heat.Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidaysBe flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunitiesThe Perks Of The Position:Paid Time OffComplimentary Park Tickets and PassesPark Discounts on Food and MerchandiseMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401K Retirement planVoluntary InsuranceLife InsuranceDisability BenefitsTuition ReimbursementDependent and Health Care Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramLegal Assistance PlanEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
