Position Description
The State of Michigan is looking for:
Software Solutions Architect Max Bill Rate: - AN IN-PERSON INTERVIEW IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION AND THE CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE SPECIFIC 2 DAYS THE TEAM IS ON-SITE (SEE DETAILS BELOW)
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
5+ years of experience gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline-as-code, branching strategies, automated code reviews, and testing aligned with organizational goals Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences 2-3 Salesforce certifications required 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce and SQL and calcul ,..
Preferred:
Salesforce Architect certification Experience working on enterprise-level implementations Database-related certifications
Interview Process:
Virtual and in-person. 60-minute Virtual Interview via MS Teams (video required). Candidates should join from a laptop and be prepared to share their screen if requested. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of virtual interview to validate candidate. This will be followed by an in-person interview for the 2nd round
Duration:
6-months, with the intent to hire the contractor into a full-time position with SOMI within 6 months to a year. At the time of hire, the candidate must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship from the State of Michigan
Hybrid Work Schedule (Non-Negotiable):
There is no remote-only option Required onsite days- Wednesdays and Thursdays Remote eligible days- Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays The resource must meet these requirements from the beginning Candidates must be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles) at time of submission. This requirement is non-negotiable
