Position Summary
Montefiore, the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, is seeking a full‑time Laryngologist to join our Department of Otorhinolaryngology‑Head and Neck Surgery in Bronx, New York. The appointment will be at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, depending on qualifications.
We are particularly interested in candidates trained and experienced in all aspects of laryngology, including voice feminization surgery to support our gender‑affirming care practice within the Facial and Plastic Reconstructive Surgery Division. Candidates with experience in dysphagia and swallowing disorders are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical care in laryngology across all patient populations.
Perform voice feminization surgeries and other laryngological procedures.
Lead clinical, research, and teaching efforts within the department.
Qualifications
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Otolaryngology‑Head and Neck Surgery.
Fellowship training in Laryngology or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated competency in endoscopic instrumentation and computer‑assisted laser technology.
Excellent communication skills and commitment to teaching and research.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary in the range $330,000–$425,000 with productivity incentives (wRVU), paid malpractice, CME stipend, 403(b) and 457 tax shelters, LTD, STD, health, dental, vision, and more.
