Job description
Laser OperatorOur client in Willoughby, OH is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join their 1st shift manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal components while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.ResponsibilitiesOperate laser cutting machines according to production schedules.Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.Load programs and edit machine.Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.Perform basic machine adjustments and report equipment issues to the supervisor.Keep the work area clean and organized.Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.Assist with other production duties as needed.QualificationsPrevious manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred but not required.Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.Benefits1st Shift Schedule$17.00 per hourWeekly payOpportunity for permanent hire based on performance and attendance.
