Laser Operator - Direct HireKelly is partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Hartland, WI to hire an experienced Laser Operator for a direct-hire opportunity.This is a great opportunity for someone with CNC laser experience who is looking for a stable 1st-shift position, modern equipment, hands-on training, and long-term growth with a respected manufacturing company.As a Laser Operator, you will set up and operate CNC Fiber and CO2 laser equipment while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.Responsibilities include:Set up and operate CNC Fiber and CO2 laser machinesVerify material type and thickness before productionLoad materials into the automated storage and handling systemProduce parts according to work orders, specifications, and quality standardsIdentify and correct machine alignment and cutting issuesTroubleshoot minor machine and programming issuesMake necessary adjustments to maintain part qualityRecord production information in the computerized tracking systemCross-train on multiple laser machines and production cellsOperate a forklift to move materials as neededPerform routine operator-level preventative maintenanceMaintain equipment and maintenance logsReport quality, production, material, or equipment concernsSupport other production areas as neededPrevious CNC laser operating experience preferredExperience with Fiber or CO2 laser equipment is a plusAbility to read and follow work instructions and manufacturing documentationStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityGood attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently while also contributing to a teamReliable attendance and strong work ethicForklift experience is a plus
