If you enjoy working with advanced CNC equipment, precision fabrication, and producing high-quality metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career.In this role, you will:Operate CNC laser cutting equipment, including Amada and similar laser systemsLoad and unload raw materials using approved material handling equipmentSet up jobs according to production schedules, work instructions, and program requirementsExecute laser cutting programs accurately and efficientlyRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and production documentationMonitor machine performance and cut quality throughout production runsInspect finished parts to verify compliance with specifications and quality standardsSort, label, identify, and stage completed parts for downstream operationsPerform machine setup verification and material alignment activitiesConduct dimensional inspections using measuring instruments and gaugesMake basic machine adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiencyReport program errors, equipment issues, and quality concerns to supervisors and programming personnelPerform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance activitiesMaintain accurate production records and documentationSupport inventory control and material tracking activitiesTroubleshoot minor equipment and process issuesCollaborate with Laser Programmers on process improvements and production concernsSupport Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiativesAssist in training new operators and supporting workflow continuityWe're seeking a dependable manufacturing professional with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain quality and productivity in a fabrication environment.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum one (1) year of CNC machining, manufacturing, or industrial production experience preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentationBasic understanding of CNC machine operation and manufacturing processesStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityAbility to perform quality inspections using measuring instrumentsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentPreferred QualificationsLaser cutting experienceSheet metal fabrication experienceExperience operating Amada or similar CNC laser systemsExperience utilizing precision measuring equipmentLean Manufacturing and 5S experienceExperience supporting production schedules and manufacturing operationsThis is a full-time, non-exempt position. Schedule may vary based on production requirements and operational needs.
