Join a growing, industry-leading aerospace manufacturer where your work makes an impact and your career can take off.Position Description: The Laser Operator produces parts by operating computer numerical control laser cutting machines. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday – Thursday 4:00 pm – 2:30 am. Night Shift receives a 20% shift differential.Essential Responsibilities:Load parts and operate lasers (Trumpf 5 Axis and/or Mitsubishi 5 Axis)Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectationsPerform minor edits of laser programsPerform tooling setup per work instructionsInspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, comparators, etc.Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management SystemMonitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisorDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor and other staffOther duties as directed by supervisorQualifications:High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferredWorking knowledge of laser equipment, tooling, and processesStrong verbal communication and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to deal with complexityCapable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitudeBenefits: Enjet offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees including paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid holidays, a 401K retirement plan, disability insurance, and more.As an EOE/AA employer, Enjet Aero will not discriminate in its employment practices due to an applicant's race, color, religious creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, veteran status, marital status or physical challenges.
