Laser OperatorLeader Tech is a world leading innovator and manufacturer of EMI shielding products for circuit boards, electronic enclosures, interconnect cables and Thermal solutions founded in 1984. The Company serves a diverse commercial and military customer base from its Global EMI Shielding Technology Center located in Tampa, Florida. Every detail of the company's one-of-a-kind manufacturing facility is tailor-engineered to streamline and improve customer service, engineering and manufacturing processes.Position Summary:The Laser Operator for is responsible for the daily operation of the laser machines including moving necessary materials to and from the machine.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Performs quality checksComplete inspection reports for jobs ran on machine.Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: read blue prints, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipmentDetects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows all safety regulations.Performs typical laser operations.Troubleshooting quality issuesEssential Skills and Knowledge:Ability to follow DirectionsAdaptabilityArm-Hand SteadinessAttention to detailCooperationControl PrecisionCustomer ServiceDependabilityHandling and Moving ObjectsInterpersonal skills to interact with all team membersManual DexterityMonitoringOperation and ControlProblem SensitivityTime ManagementVerbal and Written Communication skillsEducation and Experience:High School diploma or equivalent required.One to three years of experience desired in a manufacturing environment.Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by management.Quality Management System Responsibilities:As a member of the Quality Management System, quality procedures, requirements, work instructions, and other required documentation must be followed. Team members are responsible to be aware of the company's quality policy and quality objectives in order to support the continuous improvement projects and contribute to the overall mission of the organization.
