Lathe Cnc MachinistThe Lathe CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry.2nd shift: Monday - Thursday 3:30pm to 1:30amSign-on bonus available: $1,000-$5,000 dependent on level of experience!ResponsibilitiesLathe CNC Machinist duties and responsibilities:Operate Lathe CNC machinesPerform quality inspection on completed partsPerform preventative maintenance on Lathe CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performanceComplete tool changesQualificationsLathe CNC Machinist position requirements:Operator experience with Lathe CNC machinesStrong math background, preferable in machine math/shop mathUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Ability to read and interpret blueprintsExperience using a microscopeAbility to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometerLathe CNC Machinist preferred knowledge, skills and abilities:Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instrumentsPrevious experience with tight tolerancesProgramming experience with Lathe CNC MachinesExperience with set-up on Lathe CNC MachinesExperience in troubleshooting of Lathe CNC MachinesCompany BenefitsAs a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees.
