Machine Shop OperatorOur employees are the reason for our successSet up and be able to operate all machines within the machine shopPosition Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Set up and operate lathes and millsSet up and operate economy pointerSet up and operate slottersSet up and operate air chamberSet up and operate fillet rollSet up and operate traubsSet up and operate dye machineSet up and operate drill pressSet up and operate auto pin machineSet up and operate button die and c-sinkSet up and operate cut off sawSet up and operate chop off pressBe familiar with and able to use dial calipers, mic and SPC computerQualifications-Education/ExperienceRequired:Qualifications - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this positionEducation and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and applicable experienceLanguage Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organizationMathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Be able to read and interpret blue printsReasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
