Laundry And Housekeeping AttendantTonganoxie Terrace is currently hiring a Laundry and Housekeeping Attendant to support overnight laundry operations and maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the facility. The Laundry and Housekeeping Attendant plays an important role in ensuring clean linens are available, common areas are properly maintained, and the facility is clean and prepared for the next day's operations.Compensation: $17 per hourBenefitsHealth, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off (PTO)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Schedule and Employment TypeFull-Time Nights (10PM - 6AM)Key ResponsibilitiesComplete overnight laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and stocking facility linensEnsure clean linens, towels, and other laundry supplies are available and prepared for the following dayMaintain laundry areas in a clean, organized, and sanitary conditionClean and disinfect common areas, hallways, restrooms, and other designated spacesSweep floors and operate floor-cleaning equipment as neededClean and sanitize frequently touched surfacesEmpty trash and replace liners as neededClean resident rooms when needed or assignedRespond to spills and other housekeeping needs throughout the shiftEnsure the facility is clean, organized, and prepared for morning operationsRestock linen closets and designated storage areasFollow facility cleaning, sanitation, safety, and infection control proceduresProperly use and store cleaning products and equipmentReport maintenance, sanitation, supply, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisorComplete required laundry and housekeeping checklists and documentationMaintain resident privacy and confidentialityQualificationsPrevious housekeeping, laundry, environmental services, or cleaning experience preferredKnowledge of cleaning, sanitation, and infection control practices preferredAbility to safely handle cleaning products and housekeeping equipmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and complete assigned tasks during an overnight shiftReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environmentApply today to join our team as a Laundry and Housekeeping Attendant and help ensure our facility is clean, comfortable, and prepared for residents and staff each day.
