Laundry/Housekeeping Aide

We are seeking a dedicated Laundry/Housekeeping Aide to support the functions of our nursing home establishment in Salem, Massachusetts. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities. About the Role:
Delivering soiled linens to the laundry area
Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and returning clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms
Consulting with patients to discuss supplementary laundering-related services that may be of use to them
Ensuring all textiles are well cared for and maintained, contributing to the overall presentation of the establishment
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience preferred
Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment
Ability to stand for long periods
Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds unaided
Minimum 2 years of experience
