Job TitleMinimum Skills and Abilities Required:Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in English.Professional manner, high energy level, and a positive attitude.Ability to handle a wide variety of situations and problems.Ability to deal effectively with people.Knowledge of equipment, tools, mechanical devices, and their uses.Knowledge of the operation and care of commercial washers and dryers.Ability to safely carry, set-up and climb ladders.Ability to bend, squat, stretch, and stand for eight hours at a time.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Serve as representative of Brett/Robinson, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other employees of Brett/Robinson, owners, guest and other members of the community.Perform monthly inspection of facility and grounds with supervisor.Examine and inspect equipment and maintenance sites to verify safety.Ensure an accurate inventory of all parts and materials.Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance.Meet with manager at beginning and end of each day to review maintenance issues and made-ready status.Record production and operational data on specified forms and reports.Record scheduled maintenance on equipment based on the manufacture's recommendations and operations manual.Ensure all entrances are operable at all times and maintained in proper working order.Keep machines running on a daily basis / remove jams / trouble shoot problems.Train maintenance personnel regarding laundry methods and operation of equipment.Perform other duties as assigned.Working Conditions:Ability to work flexible hours, up to 40 hours per week, seven days per week; in accordance to seasonal needsWork environment includes exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, and cold.Regular attendance and punctuality are expected in accordance with company policy.I fulfill the minimum skills required and am able to perform the essential functions of this position.
