Job description
Lawn Care TechnicianLawn Doctor of McHenry County has been providing Lawn Care services to McHenry County and parts of Lake County, for over 20 years. We provide top quality service, excellent customer service, and high quality products to our customers. We have grown to become the largest Lawn Doctor franchise in the Midwest, and are looking to add to our team! We are currently looking for individuals who are self-motivated, passionate about their work, and reliable. Our Technicians are responsible for providing lawn care services such as fertilization, weed control, aeration and seedings, tree and shrub spray, and pesticide services to our residential and commercial customers. Experienced individuals may also be responsible for measuring, providing quotes and/or lawn analysis. We encourage our team members personally and professionally, by providing opportunities to grow within our company. Individuals with current experience with lawn care and landscaping is a plus, however not a must, as we will train the right individual.We Offer:Competitive Production Based Salary ($700-$900+ PER WEEK)Paid Training to obtain the required Illinois Pesticide LicenseAdvancement OpportunitiesCompany provided uniform, work truck, and servicing equipmentAbility to work as an individual in a team environment (a mentor is provided)Full-Time, Part-Time, After Hours, Early Morning, Weekends Only-FLEXIBLE SCHEDULEResponsibilities:Lawn care services; Fertilization, Weed Control, Aeration, Tree and Shrub spray, Pest Control sprayFollow Lawn Doctor servicing proceduresMaintain personal and professional appearance, including equipmentProvide professional and courteous customer serviceProvide quotes and lawn analysis (for qualified individuals, Opportunity to receive additional Weekly Commission for Sales)Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)Must possess valid IL Drivers' License with good driving recordProfessional appearanceExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to lift or carry up to 50 poundsAble to work in various weather conditionsAbility to read and recall regulations and procedures, and pass state issued pesticide examPrevious sales or industry experience is a plus, however not requiredWarehouse is located in Richmond, IL
